The Frist Gala

The Frist Gala is a high-end, annual fundraising event for The Frist Art Museum in Nashville, TN. The design direction was inspired by the exhibition Italian Style: Fashion since 1945. The glamorous pieces in this exhibition were originally seen on the catwalk of the Sala Bianca Shows in Florence’s Pitti Palace. The arched architecture of the Pitti Palace along with the black and white photography from these fashion shows largely inspired the design direction of these pieces.
